398 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Well regarded for his creative output, Dr. Mosgrove’s literary works include “Saying I Love You and Beyond: Is Saying I Love You Enough” and “Saying Thanks and Beyond: Is Saying Thank You Enough.” Both of his books were published by Pageturner, Press and Media in 2020 and 2018, respectively, and they each received the Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for Best Inspirational Book. Throughout his career, Dr. Mosgrove has largely attributed his success to his abiding faith. In light of his many accomplishments, he regards the greatest highlight of his life is being able to raise his son. Looking toward the future, Dr. Mosgrove intends to continue serving his community however he can, and he hopes to write and publish more books. Having operated with the Church of the Nazarene, Inc., since 1975, Dr. Ralph Walter Mosgrove has found a wealth of success over the course of his career. Since originally joining the church, he has held various positions, primarily operating as a pastor, author and musician. In his roles, Dr. Mosgrove has been largely responsible for overseeing the church’s charity work, in which he and his colleagues provide homeless communities with mobile homes, food and clothing, as well as dental and medical appointments. From an early age, Dr. Mosgrove was heavily involvedwith the church, as his parents attended regularly. In addition to his primary vocational duties, he served with the United States Navy for 26 years, achieving the rank of senior chief petty officer before he was honorably discharged. Furthermore, Dr. Mosgrove cultivated a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Columbia College in 1977 and a Doctor of Divinity from the United Bible College and Seminary in 1982.
