Mr. DoQui attributes his success to his tenacity, drive and instilled belief that his work in the entertainment industry has made a profound difference on the world. As an actor, he believes that fellow actors are storytellers who hold the responsibility of making society take an inward look at itself. Drawing upon college coursework, he also gives back to his community through the Nkrumah Better Boys Social Aid and Pleasure Club, a 501(c)3 organization in New Orleans. Looking toward the future, Mr. DoQui intends to continue succeeding in his career and begin transitioning into a producer role for future series and films. Hailing from a family of entertainers, Robert Diago DoQui was born into the business of performance arts. Notably, his father played the role of Sergeant Warren Reed in the film “Robocop,” as well as its two sequels. As a natural bornperformer, Mr. DoQui’s interest in the industry progressed organically until he reached the prominent position he is recognized in today. Since 1996, he has excelled as the owner and performer of Bijou Entertainment, Inc., located in NewOrleans. A member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAGAFTRA), Mr. DoQui is exceptionally proud of his filmography and progression within the realm of television and film. As an accomplished actor, he played the role of Jefferson in the television series “Gun,” which aired in 1997, as well as Principal in the film “Coins for Love,” a 2020 television movie. However, among the many highlights of his career, Mr. DoQui is particularly esteemed for his roles in “Hatchet III” as Deputy Winslow in 2013 and “Back to the Goode Life” as Deacon in 2019.
