Among the many highlights of his career, he is especially proud to have garnered enough financial support to retire at the age of 35. Leading to this point, he made his first $1 million, which afforded himopportunities to travel across the world. Before opening his own art gallery in 1996, he first visited over 250 galleries to cultivate knowledge and expertise in art, particularly in relation to how artists and clients interact. To this end, he values the importance of complete honesty between the artist and the client, which is a key factor to how Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art operates. Notably, Mr. Herman’s gallery recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, and they featured 25 different artists throughout the studio. As a testament to its success, the gallery was named Best Gallery in Sedona, Arizona, and Best Gallery in Arizona. Likewise, it was featured among the 25 Best American Galleries and Museums. Marty Herman is a seasoned corporate executive and art gallery owner who has accrued over five decades of experience in his fields. He commenced his career in 1971 at Pacific Stereo, where he served as a marketing manager for three years. Thereafter, he joined University Stereo in 1975, where he was the executive vice president and general manager until 1980. Congruent to this position, he also served JAM Advertising, Inc., as president between 1977 and 1980. In the latter stages of his career, Mr. Herman joined the Special Olympics, excelling as the head swimming coach between 1981 and 1982. Returning to the corporate sector shortly thereafter, he became the vice president of marketing for Inference Corporation in 1982, remaining there for one year. Following this appointment, he served as a sea captain for World Travelers from 1984 to 1990. Since 1996, Mr. Herman has thrived as the owner and manager of the Exposures International Gallery of Fine Art.
