62 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARTS, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Jean Quintana has been enthralled with artistic expression from a formative age. Driven by her love for and devotion to art, she believes that art is a religious and spiritual process, through which she can connect to her innermost self by paintbrush and canvas. Currently excelling as an artist and author based out of Santa Maria, California, Ms. Quintana attributes much of her current success to her persistence in her craft and her undying pursuit of painting as a full-time career path. Noting that the intricacies and freedom of expression in relation to art have been a never-ending cycle of education, Ms. Quintana also draws upon college coursework. Alongside her work in painting, she is the noted author of the book “Soul Therapy: A Game of Intuition,” which was published by Balboa Press in 2020. Within her book, Ms. Quintana introduces a game to her readers that aims to help them improve their intuition skills. Among the myriad of highlights of her personal and professional journey, Ms. Quintana is especially proud of her distinguished role as both a mother and a grandmother. In addition to her abounding love for her family, she also finds great joy in expressing her feelings through art and is gratified when other individuals’ lives are positively influenced by her artwork. Outside of her primary endeavors, Ms. Quintana maintains affiliation with civic organizations, such as the Friends of the Santa Maria Public Library, through which she participates in their charity events, and the Ian M. Hassett Foundation, where she has served as an art coordinator. Looking toward the future, Ms. Quintana intends to witness the continued growth and success of her life as a prolific artist.
