Among his many career achievements, Mr. Rappaport is especially proud of being invited to speak at the Sustainability of the Planet conference in Stockholm, Sweden, which was hosted by the Nobel Institute, European Union and the UNEC in 2007. He was the only American out of 14 different speakers at the conference. Looking forward, he would like to adapt his book into a Netflix movie. While coming of age, Marc D. Rappaport visited a nuclear facility in Princeton, New Jersey, where he was taught about many of the operations conducted within the building, such as the operation of mechanical arms and manipulation of radioactive materials. Immediately garnering interest and fascination in the subject of nuclear research, he attended California State University, East Bay, from which he graduated in 1969 after studying mathematics, physics and engineering. Supported by over four decades of expertise in engineering, Mr. Rappaport has excelled as the chief executive officer of Rappaport Energy Consulting LLC since 2004. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rappaport served as a managing partner and founder of Biomass One between the 1980s and 1990s, drawing upon his immense expertise and knowledge in alternative energy, renewable energy, project management and energy efficiency. During his poignant career, he developed a basic patent for the geothermal-solar thermal hybrid power generating system.
