Some of Ms. Matorin’s other creative works include “Thriving at 70 and Beyond,” “Clutter is in the Eye of the Beholder” and “Social Workers: Finding Solutions for Real Problems.” While there have been many memorable moments throughout Ms. Matorin’s widely successful career, she is most proud of her article “Finding Joy in Social Work,” which was published in The Social Work Journal in 2015. Furthermore, she is thankful to have worked with many of her memorable clients. When she is not active in her vocational duties, Ms. Matorin loves spending time with her family, reading and playing piano, as well as partaking in ballet and the arts. whom she maintains membership — honored her with the Ellen Perlman Simon Outstanding Mentor Award and the Hyman J. Weiner Award in 2021 and 2006, respectively. Furthermore, she was recognized with the Centennial Award in 1998 and the Distinguished Service Medal from Columbia University in 1989. Known also for her scholarly output, Ms. Matorin has published and authored a wealth of educational and professional letters and articles. She has frequently appeared in The New York Times with such articles as “Digital Psychotherapy” and “Considering a Corona Virus Divorce,” published in 2021 and 2020,
