369 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SCIENCES, PHARMACEUTICALS AND BIOTECHNOLOGY Peer Choice Winner for his work with his project “Purate Conversion at SPS.” This distinction is awarded to the most innovative implemented project, resulting in extensive cost savings and substantial environmental benefits. In 2022, Mr. Warren was promoted to Innovation Guide for Power Generation at Dominion Energy’s Headquarters. This role capitalized on and expanded his leadership skills and other talents, allowing him to further advance science and innovation at nuclear, coal, oil, natural gas, solar, hydro, and wind power generation facilities. Dominion Energy created the Lyra Innovation Lab to remain on the cutting edge of technology while encouraging teamwork and developing employees’ leadership skills. This program fosters employee-only intrapreneurial teams, teaching themhow tomove ideas beyond a concept, create prototypes, gather feedback, structure a business case, and develop a pilot. The Lyra teams focused on making new energy products or services that meet the changing needs of Dominion Energy’s customers. Mr. Warren, alongside his teammates, Christina Morrison, Jake Littlepage, Joshua Bell, and Abdalla Osman (pictured from left to right on page 370), were the 2022 Dominion Energy Lyra Innovation Lab Overall Competition then promoted to Chemist III. In this role, his primary responsibility was to prevent corrosion throughout the nuclear plant by minimizing plant impurities and maintaining pH control. Mr. Warren used this role to expand his skills by leading efforts to develop new ways to save money, reduce labor, and lower Dominion Energy’s environmental footprint. Dominion Energy is a power and energy company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, which operates in 16 states across the United States and provides energy to nearly 7 million customers. SPS is a nuclear power plant composed of two 3-loop Pressurized Water Reactors (PWRs), each having a total output of about 838 megawatts of power for a combined plant output of 1.676 gigawatts. This power station is located on an 840-acre site in southeastern Virginia and generates enough power for 420,000 homes. As an industry-recognized leader in innovation, Mr. Warren has presented twice as the invited keynote speaker at the NuclearIQ Conference: first in 2017, for using NuclearIQ to automatically export and trend secondary system data from the Integral Ion Chromatography Systems, and again in 2019, on SPS’s INPO strength for low-level detection of condenser in-leakage. Throughout his career at Dominion Energy, Mr. Warren has shown initiative for improvement through the company’s Innovation Spark Tank and has received numerous accolades. Notably, he was the 2019 Second Place Eastern Regional Winner for “Purate Conversion at SPS,” in 2020, a Top 10 Eastern Regional Finalist for “Modernization of OLCMS (On-Line Chemistry Monitoring System),” and in 2021, he was the Third Place Eastern Regional Winner for “13.9 Million Gallons of Water Saved Annually at SPS.” For his inimitable expertise, Mr. Warren has been recognized as the 2021 Dominion Energy Chairman’s Excellence Award DEV
