After earning a BS in nursing from Washington Adventist University in 1979, she achieved an MBA from Mount St. Mary’s University. Furthermore, Dr. Potts holds two doctorates, one in Clinical Religious Counseling from Shepherd Care College and another in Naturopathy from the Trinity School of Natural Health. In addition to her academic credentials, she is a Board-Certified Doctor of Natural Medicine and a licensed registered nurse and holds multiple certifications. Dr. Potts discovered her interest in her vocation after falling ill and using alternative medicine to heal herself. To this end, she has learned from personal experience the value of non-traditional healing methods, and she uses her experiences in both Western medicine and natural health to her advantage in the field. She offers remote services worldwide or in-office visits in Maryland. Having accrued nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Linda D. Potts is a leader in the field of health care. Since 2004, she has operated as the owner of Healing Waters Wellness Center in Hagerstown, Maryland, where she treats patients with a variety of medical issues using a holistic approach. She examines and addresses the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of her patients’ health. In addition to her current role, Dr. Potts has served as an adjunct professor at Kaplan University. Outside of her primary vocation, Dr. Potts is an active volunteer in her local community, particularly at her church, where she has participated as a parish nurse for several years. Furthermore, she donates to numerous charities and aids in providing shelter for homeless women in her hometown. To commemorate her accomplishments, she has been recognized with several accolades, including a Higher Achievement Award from the American Naturopathic Medical Association in 2014.
