305 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Possessing over four decades of professional experience, Maria Magdalena B. Rabago has proven herself as a leader in the field of health care administration. In 1997, she founded Manawa Lea House Services, Inc., a home and community-based health care provider under the Social Security Administration in the state of Hawaii. The service specializes in assisting elderly and disabled individuals, providing them with programs and services that teach them to remain independent, despite any difficulties they may be facing. In her current position, Ms. Rabago manages all administrative duties, oversees the staff and remains on-call 24 hours, seven days per week. Before founding her own company, Ms. Rabago worked with several health care facilities in California, and she briefly moved to Atsugi, Japan, where her husband served with the United States Navy for three years. During her time in Japan, she actively volunteered with the American Red Cross. Furthermore, as part of her dedication in the field, Ms. Rabago has remained involved with the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, often donating funds for research and charitable events. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Rabago pursued a formal education. She attended Central Michigan University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in medical technology, a Bachelor of Science in nursing, and a master’s degree in management and supervision in health care administration. In addition to her academic credentials, she is also a qualified intellectual disability professional. To commemorate her accomplishments, Ms. Rabago was named as a Who’s Who Rising American in 1983. Over the course of her career, she has attributed much of her success to her patience, humility, knowledge and passion, as well as her mentors, teachers and parents. She has always felt naturally inclined to aid others, and she is proud to have pursued and thrived in a career that allowed her to do so.
