Ms. Williams continues to support the passing of prospective legislation to promote funding for awareness of mental health services. To prepare for her career, Ms. Williams received an AA in liberal arts and psychology from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in 2009, as well as a BS in psychology and MS in counseling and psychology from Troy University in 2011 and 2017, respectively. During this time, she was a graduate intern therapist at Ultimate Support Services. She is recognized as a national certified counselor (NCC) and a licensed professional counselor (LPC). Looking toward the future, Ms. Williams intends to expand Worthy of Grace LLC, as well as expand her own practice and continue serving clients of all ages and backgrounds. Since 2018, Kendra Williams has excelled as a master’s clinician at Cedar Tree Family and Children Services in Columbus, Georgia. Through her work, she is notable for conducting weekly sessions with individuals who have mental health and other behavioral issues, as well as collaborating with her supervisors to elaborate upon all her clients’ goals. Likewise, equipped with an extensive education in psychology and counseling, Ms. Williams advocates for the growth and development of wellness practices and is nationally renowned for her staunch activism for awareness of mental health problems. Alongside her primary endeavor, she is also the owner of Elevating Minds LLC, which she commenced in 2019. In 2022, she started Worthy of Grace LLC, where she provides professional life coaching services to a diverse clientele. Impressively, Ms. Williams was selected to participate in the filming of “My Brother’s Keeper,” a film released in 2020 that discusses the tribulations a war veteran faced while being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder in relation to his multiple military deployments.
