In 1951, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and completed boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina. Subsequently, he refined his skills through radio procedure and adjusting fire in artillery spotting at Camp Catlin, Hawaii. He served in Hawaii and Korea before receiving his honorable discharge in 1959. Returning to his passion for engineering, Mr. Sarazin worked for Raytheon as a design engineer and a value engineer between 1958 and 1988. Simultaneously, he obtained an associate degree, with highest honors, in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University in 1964. Today, he remains affiliated with the Society of American Value Engineers, the Marine Corps League and the Military Order of the Devil Dogs. In a career filled with highlights, Mr. Sarazin feels honored to have been interviewed by the Korean Consulate on the 60th anniversary of the Truce and profiled in several books about his experiences in North Korea, including “KnowMe” by Nancy Curci. His autobiography, “Oorah,” was self-published in 2022. Thomas C. Seubert has accumulated over three decades of experience in the field of engineering, having operated in the industry since 1990. Since 2021, he has worked with Cognizant in manufacturing execution systems (MES) delivery and as a program manager. In his roles, Mr. Seubert is responsible for the global delivery of the company’s Savigent Software MES solutions to Cargill Incorporated, and he manages numerous programs and projects. He also assists with long range planning for the business. Prior to beginning his vocational journey, Mr. Seubert achieved a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in 1990. Over the course of his career, he has developed and trained with numerous manufacturing IT project management tools and was recognized with several commendations, including the IEOM Distinguished Service Award from the IEOM Society International in 2015. Over the course of his career, Mr. Seubert has attributed much of his success to his adaptability and strong communication skills. Accounting for his accomplishments, he is most proud to have co-authored “Manufacturing Execution Systems: An Operations Management Approach” with Grant Vokey. THOMAS C. SEUBERT
