Thereafter, she completed a pharmacy internship at UCHealth Memorial Hospital and Walgreens in 2013. The same year, Dr. Cho earned a PharmD from the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Colorado in Denver. To remain abreast of developments in her field, Dr. Cho maintains affiliation with the Colorado Pharmacists Society, American Pharmacists Association and American College of Clinical Pharmacists. Among the many highlights of her career, she is especially gratified by escalating the pharmacy to the prominent position it is recognized in today, as well as helping her local community in her role as a pharmacist. In the forthcoming years, Dr. Cho intends to witness the continued success of her career in medical and academic roles. Since 2018, Dr. Ok Hyun Cho has excelled as a clinical pharmacist and supervisor for UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Among her varying responsibilities, she is accountable for educating discharged patients at the hospital in relation to treatment plans and medication regimens, as well as serving as a liaison between the hospital and patient. Likewise, she is tasked with administrative duties affiliated with hospital staff. Prior to her current role, Dr. Cho served UCHealth Memorial Hospital in a myriad of capacities beginning in 2007, including as a pharmacy technician and, later, as a provider in the heart failure clinic and with solid organ transplants. She also served Walgreens Pharmacy in Colorado Springs as a pharmacist between 2013 and 2018. Furthermore, she was an adjunct professor at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Drake University between 2017 and 2020. Drawing upon over 10 years of experience within the realm of pharmaceutical sciences, Dr. Cho was certified as a pharmacy technician from 2004 to 2012 and as a pharmacist intern from 2009 to 2013.
