322 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine Having accrued nearly two decades of experience, Martha Eddy Jentz is a proven leader in the fields of health care and wellness. Since 2010, she has operated as the immediate past president of the Cancer League of Colorado and a past secretary for the board of directors of LifeSpark Cancer Resources. All funds raised by the Cancer League are donated in support of cancer research and service organizations in the state of Colorado. In addition, Ms. Jentz has also served her community as a family therapist and a teacher. Prior to beginning her vocational journey, Ms. Jentz pursued a formal education, earning a bachelor’s degree in education from Central Michigan University and, subsequently, achieving a master’s degree in family therapy from Butler University in 1984. In light of her rewarding career, Ms. Jentz attributes much of her success to her intelligence, reliability and consistency. She became involved in her profession on account of her sincere desire to help others, which was instilled in her by her mother. Looking toward the future, Ms. Jentz is considering earning a doctorate degree, and she hopes to travel more with her husband. IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT Cancer League of Colorado Parker, CO Dr. Susan D. John is chair of the department of diagnostic and interventional imaging and professor with tenure of diagnostic imaging and pediatrics at The McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). She was the first woman to be appointed department chair at UTHealth and has held the John S. Dunn Distinguished Chair in Radiology since 2004. She is also chief of adult and pediatric imaging services at the Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital. Dr. John received anMD fromThe University of TexasMedical Branch in Galveston. She is a known leader and educator in the subspecialty of pediatric radiology. Authoring over 100 journal articles and 16 books and book chapters, she has given over 200 lectures at national and international meetings. She is an advocate of personalized care in radiology, with a focus on the imaging of children. She was president of multiple professional societies and received the UTMB Distinguished Alumnus Award and Gold Medals from the American Society of Emergency Radiology and Texas Radiological Society.
