Since 2008, she has operated as a physician assistant with Dupont Hospital LLC in Detroit, Michigan, affiliated with Lutheran Health Systems. In her position, Ms. Shaw provides patient care and educates others in preventive, hospital, and internal and family medicine. Over the course of her career, she has learned the importance of serving her community and how, in turn, this can inspire others to lead. Ms. Shaw’s performance in the field was sparked by her academic journey, having attended Indiana University and earning a bachelor’s degree in 2006. Furthermore, she is certified as a physician assistant. As part of her commitment, Ms. Shaw alsomaintains membership with the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Ms. Shaw attributes her success to her father, who provided her with a foundation of professionalism and excellence in service. She is proud to collaborate with her colleagues in saving the lives of a myriad of patients. In the near future, Ms. Shaw hopes to manage her own medical center with the assistance of other professional associates. Drawing upon over 30 years of experience in health care, Dr. Ronald J. Wauters has excelled as the medical director of behavioral health services at Unity Health since 2015. Previously serving in the same capacity for Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare between 2003 and 2015, he also thrived as an inpatient medical director and outpatient child psychiatrist at Trinity Health from 1999 to 2003. He commenced his professional career in 1996 at Louisiana State Hospital, where he served as director of children’s services for three years. Dr. Wauters holds a medical license in Arkansas and Florida and is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry. To prepare for his career, Dr. Wauters received an MD from the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center in 1990 and subsequently completed a residency in psychiatry at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1993. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of South Florida College in Medicine in 1996.
