DeTrempe has provided superior service as a molecular sales consultant with Myriad Genetics, a leading genetic testing and precision medicine company dedicated to advancing health, empowering individuals with vital genetic insights, and enabling health care providers to better detect, treat and prevent disease. Prior to this role, she served as a molecular consultant for Assurex Health from 2015 to 2016 and as a psychological account manager for Lundbeck from 2013 to 2015. Mr. DeTrempe gained earlier expertise in institutional sales with Sunovion Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2013 and as a neuropsychological specialist for Merck from 2005 to 2012. Ms. DeTrempe first earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Eastern Illinois University in 2002 before changing her career path to the sciences. An expert in her field, she attained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, which provided her the opportunity to learn about data analytics, detail graphs in terms of analyzing business and view businesses from different perspectives. She also holds a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification through the Council for Six Sigma Certifications and is currently pursuing a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and an MBA at the University of Illinois. Alongside her primarywork, Ms. DeTrempe contributes to her community through Easter Seals and as a volunteer advocate for parents and children with special needs. Likewise, she has helped a local junior high and local high school create a mathematics curriculum for students with special needs to incorporate algebra. To remain aware of advancements in her field, Ms. DeTrempe holds membership with the International Women’s Leadership Group and the Downs Syndrome Association, of which she is former 10-year board member. For her outstanding professional efforts, Ms. DeTrempe has been presented with several leadership accolades, as well as a President’s Club Award in 2021, which has been the highlight of her career. She attributes her success to her family’s support. Looking ahead, Ms. DeTrempe hopes to advance to a management position for a pharmaceutical or genetics company.
