Moreover, Mr. McCann managed the conversion of Harvard Stadium, where he was responsible for supervising the replacement of natural turf with artificial turf. For this achievement, he and his employer received the Small Project Award from the AGC in 2006. Supported by over 35 years of expertise in construction management, Mr. McCann also holds expertise in civil engineering. Prior to commencing his career, he attended the Wentworth Institute of Technology, from which he acquired a bachelor’s degree in construction management, with a minor in architecture, in 1987. Civically involved as well, he is a scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America and is a member of CFC International, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome. Mr. McCann attributes his success to his affinity for problemsolving, as well as his understanding of analytics within various industries. Christopher W. McCann presently excels as a construction manager for Markley LLC, where he maintains responsibility for ensuring successful construction of facilities, disseminating safety plans and operations for all Markley’s employees, and mitigating on-site incidents. Notably, Markley is a premier telecommunications service provider in Boston. Earlier in his career, Mr. McCann served such well-regarded companies as Walsh Bros, Suffolk Construction, Skanska USA Building, Inc., and the Parsons Corporation. During his tenure at Skanska USA Building, Mr. McCann and his team were noteworthy for receiving the AIA Project Award for their work performed on the Brockton Trial Court, a county courthouse in Brockton, Massachusetts, in 2001. Likewise, Mr. McCann is especially proud of his involvement in a variety of projects, including the construction of the Gillette Stadium, which is the home stadium of the New England Patriots football team.
