Beginning his career in 1993, he worked with several notable companies simultaneously until 1996, including such businesses as the Lantz Construction Company, Harmon Construction, Inc., and Augusta Erectors, Inc., among many others. Between 2007 and 2020, Mr. Wiles elevated his position with the Lantz Construction Company and held several key roles, including superintendent, assistant project manager and project engineer. In 2020, Mr. Wiles established New Divide Construction LLC, where he continues to serve as the president and owner. His company specializes in full-service residential and commercial contracting, offering a variety of construction services such as large- and small-scale remodeling, electrical services and roofing. Furthermore, Mr. Wiles is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction, operating under the personal philosophy, “If you wouldn’t put it in your own house, don’t put it in someone else’s home.” This client-first mentality has helped him shine as a proven leader in the field. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Wiles cultivated a formal education at Blue Ridge Community College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in mechanical engineering in 2009. In addition to his academic credentials, he is also certified as a professional engineer. Alongside his primary vocation, Mr. Wiles is also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons. Over the course of his career, Mr. Wiles has largely attributed his success to his grandfather, who instilled in him a diligent work ethic. In light of his many accomplishments, he is especially proud to have started his own business, an endeavor he was inspired to pursue on account of his desire to empower construction workers and make them feel like a true part of the company. In the near future, Mr. Wiles looks forward to the continued growth of his business, and he hopes to spendmore time with his grandson.
