Furthermore, Ms. Petrola is a conflict mediator, counselor and certified swimming instructor. In her spare time, she enjoys designing jewelry, swimming, kayaking, biking, running and rescuing Irish settlers. In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Petrola was honored as a Professional of the Year in Education in 2010. She also earned the Certificate of Recognition from Elite American Educators and was included in Who’s Who Among American Teachers on three separate occasions. Looking toward the future, Ms. Petrola intends to continue writing and publishing her books in an effort to pass down her legacy, as well as her passion and love for life to others. She attributes much of her success to her observational skills, listening skills and dedication to her craft. Outside of her primary career path, Ms. Petrola is a prolific published author who has been self-employed for several years. Her first book, “Primitive Dancer,” was published in 2014 and was followed by the book “Woman on the Edge of Time” and three volumes of “The Healing Tree,” the latter of which was published through Bookstand Publishing in 2015.
