301 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Possessing over 25 years of experience in the health care industry, Agnes Narocho Walubuka has constructed a dedicated career as a licensed assisted living administrator. Since 1997, she has operated with the St. Charles Lwanga House in Williamsburg, Virginia. In her position, Ms. Narocho Walubuka is responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of numerous individuals, supervising health care services for older adults and overseeing daily operations of various assisted living facilities. Adjacent to her primary responsibilities, Ms. Narocho Walubuka is actively involved in numerous volunteer efforts in her local community, and she specializes in deaf education. To wit, she is a spiritual assistant, and she operates with the local Franciscan Group, as well as Catholic charities, Jewish family services and church missions. Furthermore, she participates in efforts to reintegrate individuals who have served prison sentences back into their communities. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Narocho Walubuka pursued a formal education, having earned a Master of Education from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and a master’s degree in business and multiple disabilities from Gallaudet University. In addition to her academic credentials, she is certified as an assisted living administrator by the Virginia Board of Nursing. To commemorate her dedication to the field, Ms. Narocho Walubuka was recognized by the Knights of Columbus with two Awards for Community Service, and she earned an accolade from the Hampton Community Services Board. In light of her fulfilling career, Ms. Narocho Walubuka is most proud of her ability to support others, including many volunteers who are beginning their own careers in the health care industry. In the coming years, she hopes to begin a daytime program for individuals with mental and learning disabilities.
