Shaddix joined the Coastal Harbor Health System in Georgia in 2019, where he has since excelled in the hospital’s psychiatric care facilities. Drawing upon more than 25 years of excellence in the field of mental health care, he maintains responsibility for providing a secure environment for psychiatric patients who have ongoing mental health or substance abuse problems. Alongside his primary tasks, Mr. Shaddix also partners with psychiatrists, therapists and other registered nurses within the hospital system to administer individualized treatment plans for each patient who enters the facility. Earlier in his career, Mr. Shaddix served as a registered nurse at Savannah Memorial Hospital in Georgia for nearly 15 years, having previously served in the field of patient care at both Heartland Hospice and Gateway Behavioral Health Services. Among the several highlights of his career, he is especially proud of providing compassionate care to his patients, and he credits much of his success to his ability to be flexible in a medical environment. To note, his flexibility has afforded him opportunities to flourish in all the departments in which he has worked through the Coastal Harbor Health System. In light of his outstanding achievements, Mr. Shaddix has received numerous accolades. He was recognized as Employee of the Month by his prior employers, including Heartland Hospice in 2011 and Gateway Behavioral Health Services in 2019. Outside of his vocational endeavors, he has contributed his time and expertise to charity events at his local Methodist church. Furthermore, Mr. Shaddix maintains affiliation with the American Nursing Association to remain abreast of developments in his industry. Looking toward the future, Mr. Shaddix would like to continue serving in his present role and improving the quality of life for his patients. He also intends to allocate his time to rest and relaxation through a vacation to Europe. He holds a license as a practical nurse via Coastal Georgia College and is a registered nurse in the state of Georgia. KERRY R.
