Lutz Jr. has excelled as the owner of Lutz First Aid and CPR Training since 2019. In his position as owner, he maintains responsibility for teaching emergency medical services to individuals and organizations who aspire to enter the field, which includes first aid, fire safety and CPR. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lutz became a certified nursing assistant in 1989 and completed coursework in paramedic and emergency medicine at The Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences in 2002. Shortly thereafter, he thrived as a paramedic at the Schuylkill Emergency Medical Services between 2004 and 2019, as well as a paramedic supervisor for the Pottsville Area EMS in Pennsylvania for five fruitful years. Alongside his primary endeavors in health care, Mr. Lutz spent time as an educator with HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, between 2016 and 2019 and formerly owned a popular pizza restaurant in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. After departing from the hospitality industry, he desired to help others in a greater capacity and, subsequently, delved into medical care. Among the myriad of highlights in his career, Mr. Lutz is especially proud of receiving state accreditation for his training center, as well as being afforded opportunities to educate emergency medical technicians and advanced medical technicians the fundamentals of emergency medicine. In accounting for his success, Mr. Lutz credits his natural empathy for others, in which he often finds himself going the extra mile to support the well-being of patients and members of his community. In turn, his compassionate nature has nurtured his business into one that is trustworthy and reliable. Looking toward the future, Mr. Lutz intends to expand upon Lutz First Aid and CPR Training, which will include a restructuring of its curriculum to support inclusion of paramedic and nurse training.
