Located in Las Vegas, The Legends Oyster Bar and Grill celebrated its grand opening shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite initial setbacks and concerns related to the pandemic’s impact upon the restaurant industry, The Legends Oyster Bar and Grill has excelled in the hospitality industry to the present day and has received a myriad of recognitions and accolades. Some honors to the restaurant’s credit have included features in local magazines and journals, interviews with local and national press, and top reviews on Yelp. Mr. Jarukasem and his restaurant were also featured in Las Vegas Weekly Magazine for their exquisite menu and unique operations in the heart of the Las Vegas region. Mr. Jarukasem’s inspiration to become an entrepreneur hailed from his prior experience as a food runner, master cook, chef, assistant executive chef and executive chef at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where he served for 20 fruitful years. Mr. Jarukasem attributes much of his success to the excellent teamwork among his staff members and their support of him as a businessowner. Were it not for his exceptional team, Mr. Jarukasem emphasizes that his restaurant would not be as successful as it is today, and the collaboration among him and his team members have resulted in terrific outcomes. He also notes that many of his employees go above and beyond to suit the needs of the business, wherein they often work on their days off to advance the success of the restaurant. Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Jarukasem volunteers with the Opportunity Village, as well as participates with organizations that help children with disabilities. He finds the most rewarding aspect of his career has been the consistency of repeat customers, who have returned again and again to enjoy his business. Looking forward, Mr. Jarukasem intends to expand upon the business, which will include more locations and franchising efforts.
