He began his career serving with the Barnstable Police Department in 1968 during the summer while he was earning his degree at Salem State College. After graduating from the Massachusetts State Police Academy in 1971, Mr. Meier went on to serve with the Massachusetts State Police until 1998, achieving the rank of sergeant by the time he retired from law enforcement. Following his time serving as an officer, Mr. Meier operated as an insurance fraud investigator with Amica Mutual Insurance Company from 1998 to 2010. Having also previously pursued a formal education, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Anna Maria College in 1983. In recognition of his many accomplishments, Mr. Meier received several letters of commendation. He attributes much of his success to the encouragement of his father, who instilled in him a strong, dedicated work ethic. In a career filled with achievements, he is especially proud to have been able to honorably retire knowing he made a difference in his community. Drawing upon over five decades of expertise in legal matters, Thelma Wyatt Cummings Moore has excelled as the principal attorney and counselor-at-law at Moore Law LLC since 2010. Earlier in her career, she served as a judge for the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, between 1990 and 2009, as well as a judge for the State Court of Fulton County and for the Municipal Court of Atlanta. Among her myriad of career achievements, Ms. Moore is especially proud of spearheading the family division of the Fulton County Superior Court, having also been recognized as the first woman to serve as chief judge. During her tenure, she served 31 years on the bench and was re-elected on six different occasions. She holds a JD from the Emory University School of Law, from which she graduated with distinction and was inducted into the Order of the Coif in 1971. Ms. Moore earned the William H. Rehnquist Award from the State of Georgia in 2001. She also earned the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Bar Association in 2020, as well as several other accolades in recognition of her decades-long service to law.
