Bakersfield, CA MARCIA JOANNE HAMANN WOLFE Drawing upon a formative love for the outdoors, Marcia Joanne Hamann Wolfe has served in the environmental sector for over 50 years. Since 1995, she has excelled as president of MH Wolfe and Associates Environmental Consulting, Inc. Earlier, she served ARCO Western Energy as a senior environmental coordinator, through which she helped establish the 6,000-acre Coles Levee Ecosystem Preserve in 1992. Likewise, Ms. Wolfe was an environmental engineer for Bechtel Corporation, habitat restoration specialist for EG&EG Energy Measurements, reclamation engineer for Kaiser Steel Corporation, naturalist for the Pennzoil-Vermejo Park Ranch, and ranger for the National Park Service in Longmire, Washington. Ms. Wolfe helped implement the first successful re-vegetation of warm season native grasses in NewMexico, as well as educated staffmembers on how to collect and use native green fescue at Mount Rainier National Park. For her achievements, she earned the 1998 Regulation Innovators Award, 1993 IDRC Award and 1987 Certificate of Merit from the Soil Society of America. She holds a BS from the University of Puget Sound and MS from Washington State University and is a senior certified ecologist and a certified environmental inspector and consultant.
