He also served as cochairman of the medical-dental division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, has sat on the executive board of the Jewish National Fund, and has served on the executive board of the JSSA and Alpha Omega Holocaust Survivor Panel of Dentists. Moreover, he frequently volunteers at the Hebrew Nursing Home, through which he performs oral surgery at their dental clinic facility. He also provides free dental care to Holocaust survivors who qualify for the poverty level. A past president of the District of Columbia Dental Society, Dr. Singer further served on the executive board of the Maimonides Dental Society and was secretary-treasurer of the Metro Washington Section Executive Board of the American College of Dentists. To remain abreast of developments in his field, Dr. Singer maintains active affiliation with the American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Pan American Medical Society, the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and the Washington Dental Study Group, among many other organizations. Notably, Dr. Singer is recognized as a fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. In his spare time, Dr. Singer enjoys traveling, lecturing, playing tennis and playing poker. Impressively, he has been featured in the World Series of Poker on two occasions. Married to his wife Frances, he is the proud father of one son, Samuel. Looking toward the future, Dr. Singer intends to continue experiencing the growth and success of his career and, eventually, ease into a well-deserved retirement.
