DOBY Debra L. Doby currently excels as a partner of Vaughan & Baio, where she concentrates her practice on New York and Longshore Harborworker’s workers’ compensation with a subspecialty in construction and safety matters. She previously served Goldberg Segalla in White Plains, New York, as a partner and associate between 2013 and 2020 and was a supervising attorney for the Special Funds Conservation Committee in Syracuse, New York, from 2011 to 2013. She also serves as an adjunct professor at The Colleges of Law. After relocating to the United States, she earned a JD from the Golden Gate University Law School in 1996, followed by an LLM in taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1999. Over the course of her career, Ms. Dungog served in prominent legal positions with such entities as KPMG LLP, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, the Dow Chemical Company, Liner Grode Stein Yankelevitz Sunshine Regenstreif & Taylor LLP, Hobson Dungog Bernardino & Davis LLP, and Moodys Gartner Tax Law LLP. Since 2020, Ms. Dungog has excelled as a partner with Withers Bergman LLP in San Francisco. Certified in international law, Ms. Dungog has received many accolades in recognition of her work. Named a Woman of Inspiration and the recipient of the Authentic Leader Award from Canadian Business Chicks in 2018, she was subsequently titled a Woman to Watch and an Experienced Leader Non-CPA by the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Certified Public Accountant Education Foundation in 2020.
