While attending school during his formative years, Dr. Christoph Brühl developed an interest in nature and physics. Attending the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, he subsequently received a master’s degree diploma and a PhD in physics in 1982 and 1987, respectively. Shortly following his receipt of his master’s degree, Dr. Brühl joined the staff of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry (Max-Planck-Gesellschaft) inMainz, where he has since excelled as a scientist and geophysicist. Over the course of his career, Dr. Brühl has notably worked alongside several satellite teams for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA). He emphasizes that his projects completed with both administrations have been crowning achievements of his career. Alongside his primary endeavors, Dr. Brühl served as a visiting scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, in 1983, as well as lent his breadth of knowledge to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in Nairobi, Kenya, between 1990 and DR.
