While studying toward her undergraduate degree, she was president of the university’s Horticulture Club and the secretary of the Fauquier FFAAlumni and Pi Alpha Xi. She is a member of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Ms. Bush attributes her success to her diligent work ethic, consistency in her job performance and her supportive team. She was honored with the Gold Award from the National Association of Landscape Professionals, the Ruppert Landscape Branch Impact Award and two Ruppert Landscape Monthly and Yearly Top Enhancement Sales Awards. Notably, she was recognized for the top sales for four consecutive months and accrued $1.8 million in sales in 2020 and was profiled in Landscape Magazine. Interested in landscaping and design from a young age, Christa Jane Bush took horticulture and landscape design classes, thereby inspiring her to enter the field on a professional level. After completing a number of internships in her specialty, she earned a Bachelor of Science in horticulture from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in 2016. Following the receipt of her degree, she began serving LevelGreen Landscaping in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, as an enhancement supervisor for one year. Subsequently, Ms. Bush joined BrightView Landscape Services, Inc., inWoodbridge, Virginia, where she thrived as an account manager from 2016 to 2018. Since 2018, she has excelled as the area manager at Ruppert Landscape, Inc., located in Lorton, Virginia. As the area manager, Ms. Bush oversees the development and design of approximately 70 properties and three different maintenance crews affiliated with the landscaping business. Additionally, she is an account manager for KCS, AYellowstone Landscaping Company and certified as a pesticide and fertilizer applicator and a horticulturist.
