Caskey currently excels as a compliance officer at Delta Pathology Group LLC, Omega Diagnostics LLC and the Pathology Research Network. During her tenure as a compliance officer for the three aforementioned organizations, she conducts audits in accordance with HIPAA and OIG compliance requirements, as well as remains abreast of innovative regulations through communication with the organizations’ several departments. Drawing upon more than 30 years of experience in medical laboratory science, Ms. Caskey has also served as a technical consultant, where she focuses her attention on reviewing records from other laboratories to ensure compliance with industry standards and policies for accreditation. She has maintained active involvement with the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), through which she served as President and Editor of the society newsletter, ASCLS Today. While thriving as president, Ms. Caskey was instrumental in efforts to increase diversity and equity within the organization, as well as expanded visibility for the organization’s members within the industry. She is also a devoted member of the Louisiana State Society for Clinical Laboratory Science. In accounting for her success, Ms. Caskey credits the support and encouragement of her parents, who both instilled in her the value of a diligent work ethic and honest communication. As a testament to her longevity and achievements in the field, she has been recognized with numerous accolades. She has been extensively honored by the ASCLS by being the recipient of the Distinguished Author Award, the Robin H. Mendelson Memorial Award in 2001 and 2003, the Joseph J. Kleiner Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award and six Outstanding Services Awards. Moreover, Ms. Caskey received the 1985, 2007 and 2011 Presidential Award for Outstanding Service and the 1982 and 2010 Member of the Year Award, both from the Louisiana State Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.
