397 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SOCIAL SERVICES AND NONPROFIT Maria Isabel Molina has always held a passion for animal care. From a young age, she often watched over her friends’ pets when they went on vacation, thereby prompting her interest in animal care and rescue that she would pursue later in life. First serving for many years as a senior fraud investigator, Ms. Molina was subsequently diagnosed with a medical condition. Following her diagnosis, she experienced much hardship. However, her joy in life was reignited upon re-discovering her love for animals, who helped her through her pain. As time progressed, Ms. Molina and her husband began taking in animals that were often overlooked in shelters, particularly senior and blind animals. In 2014, she established her nonprofit organization, Coco’s Pet Ranch, where she has since served as founder. Notably, Coco’s Pet Ranch is an acclaimed 501(c)3 organization that is based in Zolfo Springs, Florida, where Ms. Molina provides a loving, tender home and veterinary care for animals that are not normally adopted, such as senior pets and pets with blindness or deafness. Impressively, Coco’s Pet Ranch was featured in a short video through WEDU Public Television in 2017, and thus, they were propelled into the forefront of the industry. For their success in the field, Ms. Molina and Coco’s Pet Ranch was honored with the Be More Relevant Award from WEDU Public Television in 2017. She attributes a great deal of her success to the support and encouragement of all animal lovers, who share her passion and love for the industry. Looking toward the future, Ms. Molina intends to witness the continued growth and success of Coco’s Pet Ranch. Upon the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Coco’s Pet Ranch’s proceeds decreased; however, they are steadily rebuilding their establishment. In the next five years, Ms. Molina would like to further establish a country barn and host weddings to raise funds for animal care. They have already received a grant to help their organization continue flourishing in the years to come. MARIA ISABEL MOLINA FOUNDER Coco’s Pet Ranch Zolfo Springs, FL
