Hardacker has found great success as a prolific author. As a writer of mystery and thriller titles, he has received both critical and commercial acclaim for his work. Some of Mr. Hardacker’s most notable books include such works as “Sniper,” “The Fisherman” and “Wendigo,” each of which were finalists in the Maine Literary Awards in 2015, 2016 and 2018, respectively. Over the course of his career as a writer, he has primarily worked with Skyhorse Publishing. Mr. Hardacker’s passion for writing began in 1989, when he was the first runner-up in a national literary contest. In light of this success, he subsequently decided to properly learn the craft and began participating with more writing groups. As a commitment to his profession, he maintains membership with the New England chapter of the Mystery Writers of America, the International Thriller Writers, and the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance. Some of Mr. Hardacker’s other recently published works include “My Brother’s Keeper: A Thriller” in 2019 and “The Exchange” in 2020, the latter of which was published by Encircle Publications.
