253 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY course of his career in the Air Force, Mr. Turoski also served as a first officer in the Learjet 25, FAR 91, with the Montana Power Company, as well as with the Cessna Twins, FAR 135, with Rocky Mountain Air, Inc. Furthermore, he was a first officer on the B-737-300/400 and BAE-146, FAR 121, with U.S. Airways, as well as captain of the CL-600 and Learjet aircraft, FAR 135, with Executive Flight, Inc. Mr. Turoski retired from the United States Air Force in 2002 at the rank of lieutenant colonel, where upon he also served as first officer on DC-9 and Fokker 100 aircraft, FAR 121, with U.S. Airways. Following his military tenure, he served as a commercial pilot with USAir Global Aviation for 15 years, having recently retired fully from his profession. Over the course of his career, he flew for over 50 years with zero accidents and over 18,000 hours of flight time. Alongside his primary endeavors, Mr. Turoski was a part-time announcer for commercial broadcasts, radio and television stations. An alumnus of the Braniff Flight Engineer Ground School in Dallas, Mr. Turoski also completed undergraduate pilot training with the Air Force in 1972. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Instructor Pilot School in 1972, the U.S. Air Force Squadron Officer’s School in 1976 and the U.S. Air Force C-130 Aircraft Commander’s School in 1986. For his success, Mr. Turoski has received several accolades. Named Outstanding Instructor Pilot of the Quarter in 1975, he also earned the U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal for Outstanding Service in 1976. Most recently, in 2016, he was the recipient of the Wright Brothers “Master Pilot” Award from the Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration. Looking forward, Mr. Turoski intends to publish a book to pass down his legacy. Subsequent to receiving a BS in aeronautical technology, with a minor in electronics, from Arizona State University in 1971, Steven M. Turoski joined the United States Air Force. Serving as a student pilot in the T-37 and T-38 aircrafts, he subsequently became an instructor pilot in the Cessna T-37 jet until 1976. Over the STEVEN M.
