She originally began her career in 1996 as a health educator and grant writer at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, Illinois. In 2003, she founded Maberry Consulting and Evaluation Services LLC in Swansea, Illinois, where she continues to operate as the president and chief executive officer. Furthermore, Ms. Maberry has served as the director of the Heartland Institutional Review Board LLC since 2010, and she recently founded The New DBA LLC in 2022. Over the course of her career, Ms. Maberry has advocated for the betterment of collegiate academics through grant provisions. She pursued her own formal education at Southern Illinois University, where she discovered the joys of grant writing and earned a BS in health education in 1983 and an MSEd in school health in 1986. Since founding her first company in 2003, Ms. Maberry is proud to have earned over $2 billion in grant funding for her clients, and she looks forward to further expanding her businesses in the coming years. Since 2018, she has operated as the call center manager for FIS Innovators at Fintech, where she educates and trains advisors, improves workplace processes and oversees customer communications. Ms. Meranda previously operated as a fraud investigator for Barclays, a collections specialist for Alliance Data and an extension supervisor for Spirit of America. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Meranda pursued a formal education, earning an associate degree in liberal arts from the University of Cincinnati in 1998. As part of her commitment to her profession, she remains affiliated with the Community Reinvestment Act Committee. Well regarded for her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Meranda has been honored with several accolades, including the Spirit Award and Employee of the Year Award from Spirit of America. Attributing much of her success to the love and support of her parents, she hopes to advance to an individual contributor role so she can continue developing her skills and knowledge.
