217 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine FINANCE AND INSURANCE With over six decades of experience to his credit, Albert J. Morton Jr. is a proven expert in the insurance industry. Since beginning his career in 1962, he has served as an insurance and finance advisor at AJ Morton & Associates Ltd. in Charlotte, North Carolina. While he was not initially interested in insurance, Mr. Morton was encouraged by his father to pursue a career in collecting insurance premiums, and he has been thankful to have found a wealth of success in the field ever since. Mr. Morton has also worked extensively with the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce, having served as the charter president of the JCI Senatorship program in the state of North Carolina in 1975 and as the president of the Charlotte chapter between 1970 and 1971. As part of his ongoing dedication to his profession, he also remains affiliated with several other industry-related organizations, including The Order of the Long Leaf Pine and the Epilepsy Association of North Carolina. Much of Mr. Morton’s performance in the field was born from his academic journey. Prior to beginning his career, he pursued a formal education at Wake Forest University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He subsequently continued his studies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and achieved a master’s degree. Well regarded for his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Morton was honored as the Young Man of the Year in the city of Charlotte in 1972. The same year, he also received the JCI Senatorship Award. Attributing much of his success to his enthusiasm and good health, he is especially proud to have earned a lifetime membership to the Million Dollar Round Table.
