Over the course of her career, Ms. Massie-Peterson maintained her academic interests and achieved an MBA at the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University in 2011 and a graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship in 2012. As part of her dedication to her profession, Ms. Massie-Peterson is a former member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Mathematical Association of America, and the Health Insurance Committee of The Chicago Life Underwriters Association. Attributing much of her success to her perseverance and dedication, she is particularly proud of her work with the Mayor’s Chief Employment Program in Aurora, Illinois. In the coming years, she hopes to continue helping as many families and businesses as she can to achieve or implement financial plans, and create legacies for posterity. Leveraging more than 40 years of professional experience, Teresa Louise Massie-Peterson has cultivated a career of excellence as a multi-faceted professional. With her present focus on the insurance industry, she currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of TIK Enterprises, having joined the organization in 2014. In her leadership position, she works alongside various insurance companies and marketing firms as an insurance broker, in addition to assisting families and small businesses to develop individual financial plans. Ms. Massie-Peterson previously excelled as a teacher for A Plus Tutoring Service Ltd. between 2012 and 2013 and for Chicago Public Schools from 2001 to 2012. In her previous professional endeavors, she served as a social worker, psychology technician and teacher for Delta-T Group from 1998 to 2001. She also formerly operated in the field of law enforcement for 10 years. At the onset of her career, Ms. MassiePeterson worked with the New York Life Insurance Company from 1980 to 1986. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Massie-Peterson pursued higher education, beginning at Loyola University Chicago, where she earned a BA in Education and Spanish in 1974.
