Christian has excelled as the division manager for the City of San Bernardino, California, since 2021. Commencing his career in 1998, he was the supervising code officer for Riverside County in Cabazon, California, until 2021. Additionally, Mr. Christian spent a decade working as a paramedic in Colton, California, as well as a decade as a musician youth leader at Pathway Church between 1997 and 2007. Lending his expertise to civic involvement as well, Mr. Christian is a Little League coach for Redlands Youth Baseball. To prepare for his career, Mr. Christian pursued a formal education at California Baptist University. First receiving a bachelor’s degree in public administration in 2006, he subsequently received a master’s degree in organizational leadership and management in 2021. Impressively, Mr. Christian was recognized for holding the highest grade point average within the criminal justice program at California Baptist University during 2006. Mr. Christian remains affiliated with numerous organizations outside of his primary endeavors, including the California Hazardous Materials Investigators Association, with whom he has been a member since 2006. Other organizations with which he has been affiliated include the California Rural Crime Prevention Task Force, the Riverside County Environmental Task Force, and the Riverside County Consumer Affairs Task Force. Likewise, he is a member of the San Bernardino County Animal Fighting Task Force and the San Bernardino County Environmental Crimes Task Force. Among the many highlights of his career, Mr. Christian is especially gratified by his time spent building the criminal investigation team for code enforcement. Upon joining in 2006, the team was a county-wide deployment of 7,200 square miles with five team members. When Mr. Christian departed in 2011, the team was staffed with one division manager and 19 additional staff members, through which they were able to file over 3,000 criminal cases – never losing a single case.
