Having operated in this role for more than 15 years, he is responsible for ensuring that the city remains operational by managing construction projects and wastewater system updates, as well as coordinating with the city administrator. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Sellers began his career working as a farmer, a vocation in which he continues to participate alongside his son. Before beginning his professional journey, Mr. Sellers pursued a formal education at Texas Tech University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in economics in 1971. As part of his dedication to the field, he remains affiliated with the Future Farmers of America and serves as the president of the board of the Ralph Independent School District. Over the course of his career, Mr. Sellers has attributed much of his success to his kind personality and genuine desire to help others. In light of his many accomplishments, he is especially proud to have raised four children, all of whom have achieved success. Looking forward, Mr. Sellers expects he will happily retire. Leveraging more than 25 years of experience, Laura Vogel is a proven expert in government relations. Since 2014, she has operated as the senior advisor of political affairs for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), where she specializes in civic and voter engagement. Prior to her current appointment, she served as a manager of federal member advocacy for the National Association of REALTORS from 2005 to 2014. Ms. Vogel originally began her career in 1996, working as a consumer loan specialist for Harris Trust and Savings Bank until 2000. Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Vogel pursued a formal education. After earning a BA in history at Miami University in 1995, she achieved an MA in political management at George Washington University in 2002. She is also certified in grassroots management by the Public Affairs Council. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Vogel is also well regarded for her dedication to civic advocacy, regularly volunteering with groups such as the Honor Flight Network.
