In 2020, he founded Delbar Middle Eastern Restaurant & Bar (also known as Del Bar LLC) in Atlanta. Originally from Iran, the restaurant is inspired by his Middle Eastern culture and serves as a remembrance of the women in his life who instilled in him an appreciation for Middle Eastern cooking. As the owner of the restaurant, Mr. Kargar oversees all managerial tasks, including managing employees, conducting food tastings, responding to reviews and creating new recipes. Before founding his restaurant, Mr. Kargar served as the general manager of Rumi’s Kitchen in Sandy Springs, Georgia, from 2014 to 2020. He originally entered the food service industry in 2010, working as a server for The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc. Mr. Kargar previously began his career in 2007, operating as a cabinet assembler for Vision Computers. As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Kargar pursued a formal education at Georgia State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2013. Adjacent to his primary professional duties, Mr. Kargar is well regarded for his dedication to civic advocacy. He regularly participates in annual Thanksgiving cookout events in his community and provides donations for school charities. In light of his numerous accomplishments, Mr. Kargar has been honored with several honors, including awards for Best Food, Best Drinks and Best Cocktails. Furthermore, he and his restaurant have been featured on several local magazine covers. Over the course of his career, Mr. Kargar has drawn a great deal of satisfaction from being a self-taught cook and the popularity his restaurant has accrued. Furthermore, he is especially proud of his creativity and experience, which have helped him to learn from his mistakes and grow his business. In the coming years, Mr. Kargar looks forward to establishing more branches of Del Bar LLC across the United States, including in Miami and Los Angeles.
