Winters worked in a steel shop, where he assisted welders in the construction of various tools. After accruing experience, he was taught how to weld and became a state-certified welder in Texas. Following this initial exposure to the field, Mr. Winters went on to work at a steel mill and, subsequently, purchased his very first welding machine with the funds he obtained. In light of his innate ability to learn quickly and efficiently, he became an instrumental figure in the construction of a new plant in Dallas. Working with the plant for approximately two years, Mr. Winters has since leveraged his wealth of experience to form his own business. Currently, he thrives as the owner and a professional welder with his company, Johnny Winters Welder LLC. Outside of his primary duties, Mr. Winters maintains membership with the Pipeliners Local Union 7980. He attributes much of his success to his ability to work diligently and surpass those around him, drawing upon his unique affinity for applying all his strength to his work. Among the several highlights of his career, Mr. Winters is especially proud of being tasked to run large operations with every job he has worked on, serving as a testament to his tenacity, dedication and commitment to the field. Married to his wife Sonia Marie Winters since 2004, Mr. Winters has four children, one grandson and two granddaughters and presently resides in Poolville, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
