Among her credits are leading roles in programs such as “Guiding Light,” guest appearances in popular episodic programs “Lucifer” in 2021, “Six Feet Under,” “Monk” and many others, and roles in major feature films including “Argo.” Ms. Miller was also a host, writer and producer for informational series “Healthy Lifestyles” and “PM Magazine.” She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Programming Achievement in 1981; nominations from 1983 to 1985 for Individual Achievement as a Performer, Writer, Feature and Entertainment Segment Producer; and a 1984 National Award for Best Feature Story. For her performance in “Guiding Light,” Ms. Miller won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Female Newcomer in 1990, followed by nominations for Best Comic Performance, Best Scene Stealer and Best Supporting Actor in 1992, 1993 and 1994. She was also voted to the Top 10 All Time Favorite Funny Ladies in Daytime TV. She earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Daytime Drama in 1995. Specializing in media and entertainment arts, Ms. Miller has been an adjunct professor in the School of Visual and Performing Arts at College of the Canyons since 2005. In 2008, she was a media trainer for the City of Los Angeles. She joined the faculty at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory in 2022. Ms. Miller pursued her own education at Florida State University, earning her BA and MS degrees. Ms. Miller is affiliated with the Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA and is on the COC Media Entertainment Arts Advisory Committee.
