125 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine EDUCATION With more than two decades of experience to her credit, Danita Parker is a proven expert in the field of education. Since 2014, she has served as an educator and school counselor with The Academic Partnership LLC in Delaware, where she specializes in elementary education and program management. As part of her duties, she assists numerous schools in Baltimore, Maryland, the state of Delaware and the Middle East by offering improvements to school counseling programs. In her teaching endeavors for the company overseas, Ms. Parker previously served as an English teacher in Saudi Arabia at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, where she also maintained her position as the head of the resource and lesson planning committee. She originally began her career with The Academic Partnership in 1999, working as a contracted teacher for several years until subsequently becoming an elementary school teacher in Newark, New Jersey, from 2001 to 2013. Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Parker cultivated her own higher education, beginning with her time at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1999. She continued her studies at Kean University, receiving a Master of Arts in counselor education, school counseling and guidance services in 2019. In addition to her academic credentials, Ms. Parker holds an elementary teaching license and is a certified school counselor in the state of New Jersey. To remain abreast of developments within her industry, Ms. Parker maintains membership with the American School Counselor Association, the Association of Professional Educators Abroad and the New Jersey School Counselor Association. In light of her fulfilling career, she largely attributes her success to the support of her family, friends and mentors, as well as her personal drive.
