DeVito is a proven leader in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). He has served as the president of Air Comfort since 2021, having originally joined the company in 1991 as a service technician. Throughout his tenure, he has excelled in servicing major commercial buildings in his region, leveraging his skills in leadership and service. Additionally, during his time with Air Comfort, Mr. DeVito also operated as a sales engineer from 2002 to 2015 and as the vice president from 2015 to 2021. Prior to joining Air Comfort, Mr. DeVito honorably served with the United States Navy from 1987 to 1991 as a machinist, where he managed air conditioning systems aboard several Navy ships. As part of his vocational journey, he also pursued a formal education at DeVry University. Evercommitted to his profession, he remains affiliated with several industryrelated organizations, including the Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago and the Chief Engineers Association of Chicagoland. Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. DeVito regularly participates as a civicminded citizen in his community, volunteering with The American Legion and various veterans’ causes. Well regarded for his accomplishments in the field, Mr. DeVito was previously named Vendor of the Year by the Chief Engineers Association, and Air Comfort was named in the Top 100 Workplaces by the Chicago Tribune. In light of his fulfilling career, he attributes much of his success to his dedicated work ethic and commitment to his continued education. Additionally, he offers many thanks to his equally dedicated employees.
