Adjacent to his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Doliente is especially proud to have formerly served as a state deputy for the Knights of Columbus in the state of California between 2014 and 2015. Furthermore, as part of his dedication to civic advocacy, he remains active as the president of a local engineering organization in the Philippines. Attributing much of his success to his focused drive and commitment to his studies, he became involved in his profession on account of his sincere desire to improve the lives of others. With over five decades of professional experience, Avelino C. Doliente is a leading expert in the field of engineering. Since 2016, he has served as a plans examiner at SAFEbuilt Inc., a community development services company. As part of his regular duties, he oversees plans pertaining to structural integrity and safety codes for power plants, homes and industrial buildings. Mr. Doliente previously served as a civil engineer for 35 years at EsGil Corporation, which was later acquired by SAFEbuilt. He originally began his career working with the Weather Bureau in the Philippines. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Doliente pursued a formal education. Originally from the Philippines, he earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, making him the first member of his family to graduate from college.
