228 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine FINANCE AND INSURANCE John Gardner Wilder retired in 2005 after four decades as a highly respected investment management consultant. He began his investment career in 1966, specializing in institutional marketing at the Columbus, Ohio, office of Merrill Lynch. He joined Kemper Securities, becoming a Certified Investment Management Consultant. Mr. Wilder graduated from the University of Virginia in 1962, earning a Bachelor of Arts in history. Since retiring, he has found a great deal of success as an author, publishing two books. In 2013, he released “The Mover: The Travels of Charles Wilkins in 1838.” A biography released in January 2022, “Wagons, Gold and Conflict: Captain Alfred Davenport’s Adventures in the Trans-Mississippi West,” shares experiences on the Oregon Trail, the California-Mexican War and Gold Rush, the Civil War and Kansas after 1867. Mr. Wilder is well regarded for dedication to civic advocacy, serving 30 years including a two-year term as board chairman of the board of the Columbus Cancer Clinic, an organizing providing support for cancer patients, and 11 years on the board of the Washington, D.C., based Cancer Support Community. Wright has cultivated a career of excellence in the fields of finance and public safety. Since 2021, she has operated as a client advisor and finance manager of BMW of Albany, Georgia, having originally joined the company in 2020. She is also the founder of Albany Twin Storm Relief Inc. Ms. Wright previously worked as an investigator for the Dougherty County District Attorney’s Office from 2010 to 2022, having originally begun her career in 2004 with the Dougherty County Police Department. While with the police department, she achieved the rank of lieutenant prior to retiring from law enforcement in 2007. As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Wright pursued a formal education. After earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Albany State University, she achieved a master’s degree in forensic psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2012. In her other civic-minded endeavors, she participates as a board member of Girls Inc.
