311 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS A licensed massage therapist through the Berks Technical Institute, Sandy Wagner has excelled as the owner and a massage therapist with Sensory Concepts Orthopedic & Medical Massage since 2009. Located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Ms. Wagner’s business is well regarded in the community for providing much-needed health and wellness services to clients. Alongside her primary duties, she also serves as a massage therapist for the Reading, Pennsylvania, professional basketball team. Earlier in her career, Ms. Wagner worked in a diversified set of industries, having first started her career as a baker for a restaurant and owner of her own restaurant. Following this endeavor, she went on to work in a myriad of professional roles, including as a waitress, a security system salesperson, a clothing sales representative and an insurance seller. Ms. Wagner notes that she thoroughly enjoyed working with older individuals while she sold insurance, which led her to work in hospice care for a period of time. While attending to her vocational responsibilities, she went back to school for massage therapy and studied under the tutelage of James Waslaski, one of the pioneers in orthopedic massage. To remain abreast of developments in her areas of expertise, Ms. Wagner is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She is also a member of the American Business Women’s Association and the Reading Chamber of Commerce in Pennsylvania. In addition, she has remained a committee member for the Reading Police K-9 Unit and lent her time to the organization Stand Up 2 Cancer. Completing a coast-tocoast tour with Myers Squibb for Stand Up 2 Cancer during a three-week bicycle tour, Ms. Wagner worked as a massage therapist for all teams involved in the charity tour. Looking toward the future, Ms. Wagner intends to experience the continued growth of her career and eventually ease into a well-deserved retirement. She would also like to spend more time traveling and participating in her favorite hobbies, including hiking and kayaking.
