He attests that with time, research and compassion, others can easily find their own success. Dr. Wolfe originally began his career at SSM Health DePaul Hospital, where he completed his residency as a physician between 2016 and 2019. Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, he pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at Bethel University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2012. He subsequently continued his studies at Des Moines University, achieving a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2016. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Wolfe completed an orthopedic fellowship in Munich, Germany, and is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. As part of his dedication to his profession, Dr. Wolfe also remains affiliated with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In light of his fulfilling career, he attributes much of his success to the love and support of his parents, who instilled in him the importance of education, hard work and helping others. He also offers a great deal of thanks to Dr. Shaw, who cultivated his interest in the field of podiatry. In accounting for his many accomplishments, Dr. Wolfe is especially proud of his publication on modified risk factors on total ankle arthroplasty. In the coming years, he hopes to begin his own fellowship program and continue sharing his knowledge and skills with future physicians. H aving recently begun his career in 2016, Dr. Jesse R. Wolfe is a rising expert in the health care industry. Specializing in podiatry, he has operated as a foot and ankle surgeon for Northwest Iowa Bone, Joint & Sports Surgeons since 2019.
