She currently serves as a lifestyle interventionist at her own firm, Abbott DBA Lifestyle, where she leverages her experiences working as a nurse for 50 years and as a personal trainer for 20 years. Ms. Abbott specializes in inspiring others by providing individual care plans and focusing on immune restoration. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Abbott pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Boston University and her registered nurse credentials in 1968. She subsequently achieved a master’s degree in health care administration, followed by a bachelor’s degree in political sociology at Goddard College in 1978. Outside of her professional work, Ms. Abbott remains dedicated to civic advocacy, having co-founded her own women’s shelter and regularly serving as a crisis line volunteer. Additionally, she has authored four books over the course of her career. Ms. Abbott attributes much of her success to her ability to engage with others in a positive and uplifting manner. Possessing a familial background in medicine, Dr. Tarek Assi was influenced at a formative age by his father, who is an ophthalmologist. Deciding to focus on dentistry, Dr. Assi attended Nova Southeastern University, where he received a DMD and completed a residency in advanced general dentistry. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in implant surgery at the Misch Implant Institute, as well as with the American Dental Implant Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Since completing his training, Dr. Assi has been a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Assi has excelled as an oral implantologist at Alpha Dental Practice & Implant Center in Coral Springs, Florida, since 2011. Noting that his success has been due to his passion for his work, he has always remained proud of the procedures he has performed. Looking forward, Dr. Assi intends to build up a charitable organization that will aid survivors of abuse and veterans, as well as an instructional center for emerging medical professionals. DR.
