BROWN With over a decade of professional experience to her credit, Wanda R. Brown has excelled as the executive director of Brown’s Place since 2010. Specializing in rehabilitation and integrated healing, her business serves as a sober living home in New Haven, Connecticut. Drawing on her own family’s history with alcohol and drug abuse, Ms. Brown aims to help her clients and patients dealing with addiction by involving them in community service efforts and therapeutic classes that will allow them to rejoin society as productive workers and volunteers. Outside of her primary duties, Ms. Brown remains active with the New Life Ministry and as a member of the executive board of Local 34. As part of her vocational journey, she also pursued higher education at Gateway Community College, where she completed coursework in social sciences and human services. In light of her fulfilling career, she largely attributes her success to her faith. Ms. Brown is especially proud of her work in helping numerous individuals successfully reintegrate into society, and she looks forward to continuing such efforts in the coming years. With over a decade of professional experience to her credit, Iesha J. Fraser has cultivated a career of excellence working with HomeRise in San Francisco, California. HomeRise is dedicated to assisting homeless individuals by providing them with shelter, food and other resources that will help them transform their lives. Since 2017, Ms. Fraser has served the organization as the director of employment opportunities. She originally joined the company in 2012, working as a lobby services supervisor until 2014, at which point she took on the role of lobby services manager until 2017. Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Fraser pursued a formal education at San Francisco State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management in 2005. In her other civic-minded endeavors, she regularly participates in events that allow her to give back to her community, which she finds deeply fulfilling and rewarding. Attributing much of her success to her understanding of the population her company serves, Ms. Fraser hopes to rise to the position of chief executive officer of an organization or business in the coming years.
