Her late parents taught her to value lifelong education, self-reliance and giving back to one’s community, and she has built countless positive relationships with many of her peers. Her father, Daniel Edelman, also taught her the intricacies of public relations, having served as a prominent figure in the field. In the coming years, Ms. Edelman hopes to continue coaching young individuals from diverse backgrounds on how to build successful careers in the communications industry. women’s leadership council at Phillips Exeter Academy since 2021. She is also a former board member of the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, having worked with the organization from 1994 to 2021. Ms. Edelman is especially proud to have been honored by the institution for her multigenerational contributions to philanthropy. Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Edelman cultivated her formal education, beginning with her time at Yale University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1977. She subsequently continued her studies at Columbia University, achieving a Master of Science in journalism in 1980. Outside of her professional endeavors, she dedicates much of her time to writing, photography, and mentoring youths and students. In her creative pursuits, Ms. Edelman contributed to the book “Edelman and the Rise of Public Relations,” which was authored by Franz Wisner and published in 2012. THROUGH COMMUNICATIONS
