Dr. Li utilizes his skills as a negotiator to assist his clients with securing and maintaining patents for their projects. Prior to his current role, Dr. Li operated as a partner with Squire Sanders from 2003 to 2013. He achieved a PhD in chemistry at the University of South Carolina in 1994 and a JD at the Vanderbilt University Law School in 2000. Dr. Li is also licensed to practice law by the State Bar of California and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Well-regarded for his commitment to his profession, Dr. Li was appointed by the United States Department of State as an expert speaker on intellectual property rights. Accumulating over a decade of experience, Stacey J. Mills, Esq., has excelled in law. She joined the New York City Department of Finance in 2022 as an agency attorney, specializing in information, real property and legal counsel for the department. Prior, she was a PREA compliance manager for the New York City Department of Corrections between 2018 and 2022. Furthermore, from 2009 to 2018, Ms. Mills, as founder of the Law Offices of Stacey J. Mills, managed a fulltime law practice with an emphasis on real estate law and transactions. Before beginning her vocational journey, Ms. Mills earned a BA in radio, television and film, graduating cum laude from Howard University in 1999. She subsequently achieved a JD at the Western Michigan University Cooley School of Law in 2003. She is a member of the Civil Service Bar Association. She remains affiliated with the Mill Harbor Condominium Association and volunteers her time with the community-based organization, Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy.
